Mō te tūranga | About the Role

Lamb and Marker Service is located at Hōhepa's main campus in Somerfield. Lamb and Marker Service provides dedicated care and support for 4 individuals, 3 people with high support needs, dementia, and 1 person with some support with day-to-day needs.

This is a single-staffed service, and we are seeking compassionate individuals with essential caregiving or equivalent experience. As a Wake Over Support Worker your tasks include supporting with hourly turns and personal cares for 3 of the people and 1 person's morning routine.

You will be energetic, empathetic and able to work alongside this person focussing on creating a life of rich and diverse experiences while being able to read situations, problem solve and apply boundaries or offer space. You will have the confidence to support personal cares, manual handling, cooking, medication administration, and household tasks. You will be passionate about supporting and extending people’s ability to access and be part of their wider community. If you are looking for a new challenge this could be the opportunity for you.

This position's salary scale is set by pay equity and dependant on qualification level, pays between $23.15 and $28.25 per hour.

• Tuesdays and Wednesdays 11pm to 7am
